I searched the damage during this festival. A lot of people are wounded and die every year. In 2006, eleven people were injured and four people died during this festival. Some people say they are sick of having to repair their burned homes. It looks so beautiful, but garbage must be trouble on the next day.
However, the local people seem to say ｉｔ is still an illegal festival and prohibited in Greece because it is so dangerous. But local people say "This festival that many tourists visit every year is not stopped". So it is continuing.
